Plumbline

Privacy policy

Plumbline is a static information site. We collect as little as possible and we never sell your data.

This page explains what data Plumbline collects and why. It is written in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected].

What we collect

Plumbline is a static site with no accounts and no login. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are read, but we do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data to anyone. If you email us, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to answer it. If you ever subscribe to updates, we store your email address solely to send those updates, and every message includes a one-click unsubscribe.

The pages themselves set no marketing cookies. When you click an affiliate link to an exchange, that exchange (or its affiliate network) may set a cookie so it can attribute a resulting sign-up to us — that is how the affiliate model works. That cookie is governed by the destination's own privacy policy, not ours. If you never click an outbound link, no such cookie is set.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. Because we hold so little, most requests are simple. Email us and we will act on valid requests within the timeframe your local law requires. This policy may be updated as the site changes; the date of the current version is shown at the foot of the site.
